THIS SUMMER’S TOP EXPECTED HOTSPOTS
To celebrate the Spring Summer kick off, we’ve compiled a list of your top expected hotspots for the warmer seasons’ escapades. No surprises here. If you were hoping for a well-kept secret or a remote speck on the map, you won’t find it below (stay tuned for our top unexpected list though). No, here you’ll find your usual suspects. Timeless destinations that have remained consistent time and time again in offering beauty, whether through deep-rooted culture, incredible cuisine, or glittering waters, all creating the summer scenes that have become rituals for the well-heeled and well-travelled. Here’s where everyone’s going — again.
1. The French Riviera
Still holding court as ‘la grande dame’ of European summer, the Côte d’Azur is not trying to reinvent itself — and nor should it. Expect the regular go-tos: Saint Tropez’s enduring glitz, Ramatuelle’s laidback chic, lunch at La Guérite that accidentally turns into dinner, and all the Riviera charm of Saint Jean Cap-Ferrat. A detour to Montecarlo Bay (Monaco) remains mandatory, for reasons that need no explanation.
TRUE TRIBE stockists:
• Hôtel du Cap Eden Roc, Cap d’Antibes
• Le Club 55, Saint-Tropez
• Gigi Ramatuelle
• La Guérite, Cannes
• Monte-Carlo Beach, Roquebrune-Cap-Martin
• Royal Riviera, Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat
• Paloma Beach, Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat
2. Italy’s Coastlines
From the vertiginous drama of the Amalfi coast to the slow charm of Tuscany’s seaside, Italy’s coasts remain the romantic ideal. Never edgy, yet eternally seductive. Capri still reigns supreme for its aperitivo-hour people-watching, Positano for its postcard perfection, and Puglia for those who like their ‘dolce far niente’ with a little less fuss. The Tyrrhenian coast offers cinematic drives and sun-bleached glamour — nothing new, but who’s complaining?
TRUE TRIBE stockists:
• Rinascente, Milan & Florence
• Six Senses Rome
• Intimamente, Desenzano del Garda
• Paradisi, Sabaudia
3. Ibiza
Yes, again. And yes, the music is still loud and the smoothies are still €18. Whether you're staying up until sunrise or pretending to be on a wellness retreat, Ibiza continues to deliver its own hedonistic heaven — with just enough rustic chic to keep it from feeling too polished.
TRUE TRIBE stockists:
• Six Senses Ibiza
• Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay
• Antonioli Ibiza
4. Greek Eolian Islands
Mykonos is still sparkling, Santorini still glowing, and Ios still that lesser-hyped gem in between. Call it a cliché, but it’s hard to argue with that water. The food’s probably better than you remember (and more expensive).
TRUE TRIBE stockists:
• Scorpios Mykonos
5. Turkey (Bodrum and Beyond)
Turkey is officially part of the European summer circuit by now. Bodrum, in particular with its beach clubs, yachts, mezze all say you’ve arrived. Istanbul remains the chic gateway, ideal for a few days of East-meets-West glamour before you drift down the Aegean coast.
TRUE TRIBE stockists:
• Scorpios Bodrum
• Beymen, Istanbul (Istinyepark)
6. Lisbon and its Surroundings
Lisbon remains pastel-perfect, though increasingly less “undiscovered” by the hour. For a softer pace, head to Funchal, where the views are sweeping, the climate forgiving, and the crowds refreshingly absent.
Sorry, no listed TRUE TRIBE stockists here — yet.
7. Bali
For those who want to break away from Europe (and possibly themselves), Bali is prized as the place to "reset." Whether you're genuinely after enlightenment or just want to post about it, the island obliges — with lush backdrops, beach clubs with better playlists than your DJ friend, and a spiritual vibe that works even when the WiFi is excellent. Mingle with your fellow ‘I need a change of scenery’ crowd, while getting a suspiciously good tan.
No TRUE TRIBE locations here yet, but we wouldn't be surprised if that changes soon.
8. Thailand
Blame (or thank) the White Lotus for this one. Thailand is having a well-earned renaissance — lush, cinematic, and full of beauty that doesn’t try too hard. Whether you’re temple-hopping or beach-lounging, this is a summer chapter you’ll want to extend.
No stockist here either —
