PLASTIC COLLECTION
HEALTHY SEAS

Healthy Seas reduces ocean plastic pollution by collecting abandoned fishing nets, known as ghost nets. Since 2013, they have recovered over 450 tonnes of nets from European seas, which are recycled into products like Healthy Seas Socks, promoting a circular economy (ECONYL) (Be The Story).

They partner with companies like Aquafil and Bracenet to turn nets into sustainable materials and accessories, raising awareness about ocean conservation (ECONYL).

Healthy Seas also focuses on education, engaging schools and communities about marine conservation (ECONYL). For more information, visit the Healthy Seas website.
