TRUE TRIBE'S FOUR PILLARS
The following four points are the basis of TRUE TRIBE’s raison d’être in today's oversaturated fashion market.
QUALITY
TRUE TRIBE’s ethos was founded on the principle of ethical craftsmanship.
The brand aims to be a major contributor in helping developing countries such as Pakistan diversify their business model significantly dependent on Fast Fashion brands. TRUE TRIBE aspires to achieve this by having all its production vertically integrated as to set its own quality standards and working environment.
TRUE TRIBE focuses on creating lasting products of outstanding quality made more consciously. The brand’s vision is to instill a culture of true luxury and excellence in textile artisanship in all the countries where it manufactures.
CIRCULARITY
The brand’s business model embraces the concept of “Fashion Circularity". TRUE TRIBE offers garments made exclusively from regenerated fibres, whilst putting into place schemes incentivising its consumers to recycle their used clothing. TRUE TRIBE also offers repair services via its atelier for customers that desire to restore used or torn garments.
PROXIMITY
As TRUE TRIBE grows, its key objective as well as biggest challenge is to achieve the most integrated and localised supply chain. Starting 2020, TRUE TRIBE will begin manufacturing in France to meet the increasing demand of its local market.
TRANSPARENCY
Empowering consumers through true transparency. In 2021, TRUE TRIBE will begin adopting the latest blockchain technology to provide each of its conscious consumers the ability to verify the true origin of each component of its product's supply chain.

PROJECT PAKISTAN
TRUE TRIBE has established its own workshop in Pakistan through ZERO WASTE STUDIO; It's goal: to stand against fast fashion.
The workshop empowers local craftsmen and passes on French luxury know-how by training its employees in a peaceful environment under respectable working conditions.
The atelier serves the needs of the increasingly more demanding and conscious Asian and Middle Eastern market.

A pair of shorts created under the
fast fashion model takes about 20
mins. to make from start to finish.
A TRUE TRIBE pair takes about
4 hours to make.

EDUCATING COMMUNITIES
TRUE TRIBE carries beach-clean up initiatives surrounding the Mubarak village in Balochistan, Pakistan.
TRUE TRIBE seeks to work alongside local communities to help educate and contribute in developing a more
conscious way of living. There is a strong belief that by directly coordinating activities and educating locals,
it nurtures ideas that create a more symbiotic relationship with the environment.

RAW MATERIALS
PLASTIC WASTE
TRUE TRIBE collections are made from yarn fibres that originate from nylon waste collected from
discarded fishing nets, fabric scraps and other marine litter.
The plastic waste is collected by HEALTHY SEAS, a non-governmental organisation made up of
diving professionals removing plastic waste from the Mediterranean, Adriatic and North Sea.

YARN
RECYCLED NYLON YARN
Once collected, the plastic waste then goes through ECONYL's regeneration process in Ajdoviscina,
Slovenia. Located in the Vipava Valley region close to the Italian border, the facility processes around
40,000 tons of plastic waste annually.
The nylon polymerisation factory utilises state of the art technology to generate new polymers with
equivalent characteristics and quality to virgin nylon.

FABRIC
REGENERATED NYLON FABRIC
The recycled yarn is then woven into a fine regenerated nylon fabric in Northern Lombardy, near Como, Italy.
TRUE TRIBE's supplier, purely specialised in technical sportswear, creates sophisticated light-weight fabrics without compromising on performance and durability.
Produced exclusively in Italy, the organisation relies on a local supply chain to guarantee fair wages,
safety and
health conditions above average standards for social sustainability.
The company also adopts a Chemical Management protocol, in line with the ZDHC Roadmap to Zero programme.

REDUCING ENVIRONMENTAL FOOTPRINT
REDUCTION OF PACKAGING
TRUE TRIBE limits packaging to meet its “bare minimum” mantra.
All products are securely encased in a handy reusable pouch crafted out of 100% ECONYL regenerated nylon.
This method ensures safe deliveries while eliminating the use of non-essential packaging.
TRANSPORT OPTIMISATION
As TRUE TRIBE moves forward in creating its second atelier, it will implement strategies that limit dependability
on air freight transport and shift to transportation methods that generate the least amount of greenhouse emissions.
TRUE TRIBE is seeking solutions that involve electric vehicles to deliver raw materials directly from bordering
countries to be assembled in our workshop.

CIRCULARITY PROGRAMMES
TRIBECYCLES PROGRAMME
TRUE TRIBE has implemented a “TribeCycles” recycling programme aimed at encouraging its consumers to actively participate in a more circular economy.
Once the garments are worn out, customers are incentivised to send back their used product in exchange for a 20% discount on their next purchase.
TRUE TRIBE then takes the responsibility to ensure the item is sent back to its supplier to be regenerated into a new nylon.

SUPPORTED CAUSES
TRUE TRIBE participated in reforestation projects, through Greenpop, a social enterprise based in Cape Town, South Africa.
Greenpop's mission is to plant trees and establish green communities across Sub-Saharan Africa. The group fights towards
combating the world's most rapidly urbanising continent through projects in forest restoration,
urban greening and sustainable development.
When TRUE TRIBE’S founder travelled to Western Australia back in 2015, he was shocked to discover the harsh inequalities
faced by many aboriginals living there.
TRUE TRIBE decided to partner with NGO - Survival and donates part of its turnover to support the cause and help defend
the rights of indigenous people around the world.
“Survival International fights alongside indigenous peoples all over the world."
- Davi Kopenawa (Yanomami Shaman)
SURVIVAL is a leader in investigating mistreatment committed by governments and corporations. The aim is to support agencies
like SURVIVAL that amplify indigenous voices on the global stage.

TRUE TRIBE projects to increase its involvement with HEALTHY SEAS. The organisation focuses on protecting marine biodiversity by collecting ghost fishing nets from the bottom of the seas across Europe.
TRUE TRIBE invests in building a diverse foundation to combat ecological and social crisis through its involvement in various platforms as to expand their reach.
