Sounds of Silence
Every swim brand shoots the beach. For Spring Summer 27 we drove into the Sahara instead, to Egypt’s White Desert, where wind has carved the chalk into pale monuments, and where the loudest thing for a hundred kilometers is your own pulse. The collection is called Sounds of Silence. The location is the argument.
The brief was elemental: heat, glare, air, distance, skin. Nothing else survives out there, so nothing else went into the clothes. The collection translates that exposure into a reduced summer system: quick-dry swim, ultra-light layers, breathable linen. The palette is washed by the sun itself: vanilla, peach, lemon, sand, stone, dusk. Each piece is cut for airflow, movement, and transition. Details remain only where they serve the body.
AquaSilk carries the swim line, a silky regenerated nylon that holds the sun-washed solids. The Moon solids answer the desert light with a faint iridescence, Royal and Purple, the closest this house comes to raising its voice. NoirLite runs the night shift, ultra-light and dark, and the linens and gauzes of the resort line breathe the way the location demanded. We shot in the driest place we could find. Every swim shell is still built for the water it left behind.
In silence, we shed everything. What remains is a short, cut properly, in a color the sun already approved.
